How does it work?
SFH creates a supportive space where together, we aim to focus on the solution rather than the problem, looking forward without analysis or worry about the past
Following an in depth initial consultation, sessions combine Solution focused discussions and therapeutic techniques with guided relaxation, visualisations and trance.
The goal is to discuss what it is you want to work towards and change and then create an environment where the brain can act on those changes, making lasting and positive change
What is Trance?
Trance is the "Hypno" part of Hypnotherapy
Trance is ordinary in many ways, though everyone experiences it differently. With the use of something called a 'Language Pattern', and also a form of music/tone called a binaural beat; we aim to create a relaxing environment for you where you can visualise in a powerful way. This is key following the solution focused discussion/therapy part of your session.
Some like to think of this part as 'down time' or a 'guided meditation'
Can I be hypnotised into doing something against my will?
Absolutely not! You are always in control, the brain wont allow you to bypass any natural impulses. (You'll learn plenty about this in your Initial Consultation)
You are in a safe, supported space at all times

What can I expect from a session?
Your journey into SFH will begin with a free Initial Consultation, in which you will have the chance to gather information about the brain and how these symptoms and problems arrive in our lives. It's also a chance for you to share your worries and explore what you would like to work towards
